Operations Assistant

Salary: £16,256

Term: Permanent

Hours: 1 x 37 hours or 2 x 18.5 hours

Holidays: 25 days plus Bank Holidays

Location: Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire

Citizens Advice North Lincolnshire is looking for an experienced administrator with excellent customer service skills to provide administration and receptions services from our main office in Scunthorpe town centre.

You’ll be friendly and approachable and will have good verbal communication skills, including the ability to deal appropriately with a range of people both face-to-face and by telephone. You’ll also have the ability to plan and organise own work to meet deadlines under pressure and maintain office systems and implement administrative policies and procedures in a busy work environment.

This is a full time role however applications for job share are welcomed.

Telephone Assessor

Salary: £18,000 pro-rata

Term: Permanent

Hours: 25 per week

Holidays: 25 days plus Bank Holidays pro-rata

Location: Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire

You’ll be the first point of access for Citizens Advice clients and when they call our national telephone service number helping people with a wide range of problems and issues.

You will be familiar with advice issues including welfare benefits, debt, housing and employment; have excellent listening and questioning skills and understand the needs of others. You will have the ability to produce clear, concise and accurate records of the telephone call using prescribed electronic case recording systems; work unsupervised and take responsibility for decisions as to which service is available to callers.
